from semi-arid grasslands to swampy everglades
Last year we collected over 500 specimens to add to the PanAnd Population Panel and nearly all of them have made their way into the sequencing pipeline. We were able to sample many different ecosystems, with wide-ranging temperature and precipitation gradients.
Genomes are being assembled, plant tissues are being genome-sized, and we are onto the next phase of germplasm collection - the rest of the Andropogoneae tribe!
